Beautifully restored interiors add charm to the hotel.

The air conditioning in the room was not functioning properly, leaving us uncomfortable . We reached out to the staff for assistance, but their response was unhelpful and frustrating. The restaurant's buffet was underwhelming, lacking variety and quality.

Well-appointed and huge rooms with fantastic view's over the countryside looking towards Spain, exceptional breakfasts. Attentive and very very helpful staff always on hand. Private parking on street provided. A gym and a swimming pool were available at extra cost. The location perfect and excellent at the very center of Elvas.

The overall design of this hotel is charming, but, guess what? They clearly forgot about air conditioning! Our room reeked of heat rather than comfort. And to top it off, the indoor pool. Let's just say the water needed a little warmth! I almost thought about leaving a good review, but who can with such neglect?

I was amazed by the elegant restoration of this historical building, maintaining its original charm while offering modern amenities. My room, a Junior Suite, was spacious with a comfortable 7-foot wide bed. The breakfast was a highlight, with an extensive spread that included a chef-attended omelette station and a variety of hot and cold options, setting a wonderful tone for the day.

During my stay, I enjoyed the stunning views and beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel. The cleanliness of my room was impressive, and the breakfast spread was fantastic, exceeding my expectations with both hot and cold options. I also appreciated the convenient proximity to attractions like the Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral and the Pelourinho de Elvas, which were just a short walk away.

I had a fantastic family holiday in elvas, and vila gale exceeded my expectations! The fine views from our room and the beautiful gardens. The charming atmosphere and excellent breakfast were nice highlights.

The indoor pool was a dream, and we loved the relaxing jacuzzi! Our family really enjoyed the spacious room with a fantastic view.

the swimming pool was dope for the kids, very spacious and clean room. no irons in the room was a bummer for us.

lovely hotel but parking could be better

The Junior Suite was impressively spacious, with a comfortable 7-foot wide bed, made for an excellent night's sleep. I particularly enjoyed the well-equipped gym and the soothing amenities of the spa. The daily breakfast spread was a true highlight, with freshly cooked options and a variety that catered to all tastes, one morning I even enjoyed a meal with a fine view from the rooftop terrace.

The parking situation was somewhat inconvenient although secure, as it had limited spaces available.

The spacious and clean room was very good and the pools and spa were perfect. The friendly staff brought a cake for our child's birthday!

Vila Gale offers exquisite breakfast, breathtakingly beautiful views, and wonderfully clean rooms. The indoor pool and spa were a dream, giving our stay a touch of paradise.

The location here is ideal and exceptionally nice, quite close to a Jesuit church.

This hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, historic buildings, and the city center.

The breakfast offered here had a great variety and delicious options, and the convenient location near Castelo de Elvas was truly spectacular.
